Glass Capillary Tubing

Glass Capillary Tubing is used to create needles using needle pullers. The pulled capillaries are used for a variety of purposes, including microinjection and patch clamp. In all cases, the glass capillary, or the needle, or the micropipette or the electrode (they are all the same) is held by a pipette holder or an electrode holder. The most important specification that should match between the pipette holder or hte elctrode holder and the glass capillary is the outer diameter. Tritech Research provides glass capillaries in many practical sizes and provides the option of getting a prewashed sterilized glass capillary as well as glass capillaries with internal tubing.
